Imagine a jar which contains favourite memories, wildest dreams or magical ideas, all sparkling with inspiration. 

We're inviting your pupils to open that jar and write about what's inside in the form of a poem. Maybe they'll write about a cherished memory, a favourite person, a hope they have for the future, or a dream that only exists in their imagination. 

Big or small, serious or silly, we can't wait to read about the treasures they find in their imagination. 

Poems can be written or typed and be in any poetic style - let creativity and expression flow! 

Pupils should write or type their entry on A4, or use the online writing portal in your teacher account. Once ready, email, post or upload work to us.

Poems could be published in a special Dream Jar book. Plus, our favourite poet will also win a £50 gift card of their choice.

Only one entry per child. 

Open to both schools & independent entrants.

Schools can enter as many entries as they like.

Poems can be on the entry form or an A4 sheet of paper or typed.

The child's name, age and full address must be included with their poem. (Entries from schools need just the school address.)

The poem must be the child's own original poem.

Poems can be in any poetic form/style.

Free to enter.

UK entrants only.
